Creating music has always been a means for me to express myself creatively and share my emotions and passions with others. Crafting melodies and lyrics is an empowering and beautiful way for me to share my thoughts and bring attention to issues that I find important. I enjoy taking risks and experimenting with various styles of music and sound.
Recently, I’ve found solace in the recording studio. It’s become one of my favorite places to unwind and relax. There’s something about being there that sets me free. However, as much as I enjoy it, I’m itching to hit the road again and perform live. The stage is where I feel most alive and joyful.
According to Shakira, the inspiration behind her song “Whenever, Wherever” was her love for the Andes and its culture. She felt the need to incorporate the sounds of the Andes into her music and saw it as an opportunity to introduce a unique sound to the Anglo market and music industry.
